Performing a Basic Search

The Criteria Search tab in the Search for Bonds panel of the Home page contains the most common criteria used when searching for bonds.  You can search for bonds that meet most of your needs using this panel.

Bond search routines use an "and" association with each selection. That is, the bond or offering must satisfy all the criteria you specify to be returned in the search results. This means that the more criteria you enter, the narrower your search will be, and a fewer number of bonds will be returned. The fewer criteria you enter, the wider your search will be and a greater number of bonds will be returned. Keep this in mind when defining your search criteria.

To perform a basic search:

  1. Click the Criteria Search tab in the Search for Bonds panel of the Home page.

  2. Define the search criteria. Only the Asset Class field is required.

  3. Click Find Bonds to start the search. Bonds that match your criteria are returned in the Search Results page.
