Keeping in mind the variety and quantity of bonds available and the types of clients you have, BondWorks provides several search methods to assist you in sorting through offerings to find the right bonds to meet the investment needs of your clients. The following types of searches are available:
Criteria Search enables you to search for bonds and offerings using common bond criteria such as price, maturity, and coupon. Available from the Home page, this type of search can be effective for most situations and Advisor Workstation user experience levels.
A more comprehensive, advanced version of the criteria search is available from the Find Bonds page. Using many more search options, you can refine your search to find a more specific set of bonds to meet unique client needs. This type of search would probably be used by a more experienced Advisor Workstation, although any knowledgable user can perform an advanced search.
State Search is a single-click graphical search by state available from the State Search tab of the Home page and the Find Bonds page. This search is equally effective for all user levels.
Yield Search is a single-click search by product type and maturity range. It is available from the Yield Search tab of the Home page and the Find Bonds page. This search is equally effective for all user levels.
Quick Picks is a single-click version of a search defined by your firm's trading desk for repeated use. These searches are available from the Quick Picks tab of the Home page and the Find Bonds page. This search is equally effective for all user levels.
Saved Search is a single-click version of a search you have saved for repeated use. These searches are available from the Saved Searches tab of the Home page and the Find Bonds page. This search is equally effective for all user levels. The icon is displayed for saved searches that are also watched items.
You can also perform a text-based search using the search field, which is accessible in the header section of a BondWorks application page.
Additionally, you can repeat a recent search by selecting one from the Recent Searches panel in the Find Bonds page.
