Watched items are a part of the platform’s monitoring and alerting capabilities. You can specify a bond, a list of bonds, or a set of search criteria as a watched item. You can also specify properties of the items in which you are interested. The system monitors activity associated with the items and automatically alerts you when offerings matching your selections are available on the BondWorks platform. This feature makes it easy for you to watch for offerings coming onto the platform or events such as price or quantity changes. By identifying your interested items as watched items, you can let the system work for you.
You specify items and properties you want to watch in the following locations:
Bond Offering Detail tab of the Bond Offering Detail overlay
Watched item alerts are sent to the Messages page, the Messages panel in the Home page, and the New Messages overlay in the EasyNav tool bar. A NEW link is also displayed for the item in the Active Watched Items dashboard. If a watched item alert is sent for a search, the number of offerings matching the search criteria is also displayed with the NEW link.
To view the Active Watched Items dashboard,
click the Watched Item Alerts
icon in the EasyNav tool bar.
When new watched item alerts are present
in the dashboard, the icon changes color (
