Creating an Internal Buy Order

selectInternalBuyLink.pngPlacing an internal buy order begins by clicking the Internal Buy link in the Orders page. The Internal Buy Security Ticket page is displayed when you click the link. Complete the order by following the steps listed below.

Step 1: Complete the Security Information Panel

  1. Enter a CUSIP and click out of the CUSIP field. Bond detail information is displayed.

  2. Review the contents of the Bond Details panel. If the selected bond is a municipal, click the Material Events link to display and view material events for the bond.

  3. Complete the instructions in the Security Information panel to enable the nextStep.png button, located in the lower right corner of the page.

  4. Click the button to continue. The Enter Account Information view is displayed.

Step 2: Enter the Order

  1. Complete the Account Entry panel.

  2. Click previewOrder.png. The Preview Order view is displayed.

Step 3: Preview the Order

  1. Review the information present in the Account Information and Pricing Information panels. Verify the information is correct.
  2. Click placeOrder.png if the information is correct and you want to place the order. The Order Placed view is displayed.

Step 4: Review the Placed Order

  1. Review the Order Placed view. An order confirmation message, which includes an order number, is displayed when the order is confirmed. The message also includes the current order status and order date and time. The blotter and mini-blotter are updated to reflect the new order.

  2. Click the linked order number to view the Order Detail, if desired.

  3. Click a button to continue. Click:
