Completing a Multi-CUSIP Order

Multi-CUSIP order tickets are started by selecting the CUSIPs to include and then clicking

. The multi-step Buy Multiple Securities for a Single Account page (Multi-CUSIP Ticket page) is opened to Step 1 (Review Bond Details) when you click the button. Directions for completing each step follow.

Step 1: Review Bond Details

Review the available bond detail material for the first security selected.

If the order includes a municipal bond, use the buttons in the left panel to view bond detail, material events and other available third-party material (MuniPoints, EMMA, Diver Advisor). A green check mark is displayed in the button when you have viewed the page.
Click the Next Security button after you have reviewed the material for the first security. If the button is not available, you have not viewed all required information.
Click the Next Step button when you have reviewed the required material for each security included on the order. If the button is not available, you have not viewed all required information for all included securities.

Step 2: Enter Order

Complete the Account Entry and Order Details panels.
Complete the required fields for each offering in the Edit Offerings panel. This panel should contain a row for each CUSIP you selected.
Use the Update All dialog box, if desired, to enter the same value for any of the entry fields for all offerings on the ticket. Click the Update All button to display the dialog box.
Click () to delete any CUSIPs you no longer want to include on the order. You are prompted to confirm the action.
Click when you have entered the required information and the order contains the desired offerings.

If the order has any invalid information, an error message is displayed. Make the necessary corrections and click again.
To cancel the order, click . You are returned to the page where you started the order.

Step 3: Preview Order

Review the information in the Preview Order view of the Multi-CUSIP Ticket page. Applicable warning messages may be displayed for offerings.
Click when the order is correct.

To make a change to the order, click to return to the Enter Order view.
To cancel the order, click . You are returned to the page where you started the multi-CUSIP order.

Step 4: Order Placed

Review the Order Placed view, which contains:

A view-only Account Details panel that contains your selections from Step 1.
A view only Order Details panel that contains your selections from Step 1.
A confirmation message that indicates how many orders were placed.
An Orders Placed tab which includes a line item for each ordered offering. Each line item includes an order number and the current order status. Click the order number to display the Order Detail overlay
An Orders Not Placed tab which includes a line item for each account order not placed that lists the error condition that prevented the order from being placed.

Click Go to Orders to display the Orders blotter to follow the status of each ordered offering.
Click Restart for Not Placed if the ticket contains orders that were not placed. The Enter Order page is returned and is populated with the offerings that were not ordered.
Click Print Order Detail to print the orders.
